The S500 is a dream car to drive locally or cross country. Raw power coupled with shear comfort sets the S500 apart from others. Really like the body style of my 2000 model over the 2012/13 models. Just terrific suspension and the Bose sound system fit perfectly for cruising up Pacific Coast Highway outside Santa Barbara. Really easy to blow people off the road on the interstate. - 5.0

I love my 2001 S55 AMG had it for almost 3 years and it`s been incredible.Comfortable,smooth,quiet and yet you have 5.5 V8 Pushing 355hp gets you anywhere quickly if you needed it.The Interior Space is amazing and since that is the long base the back legroom is almost double you can stretch in the back. I love the fact that i bought the pre-facelift one with the ABC(Active body control) Hydraulic suspension(I`ve owned another 2004 S500 with the Airmatic and in my opinion the pre-2003`s have better and more reliable suspension system. I am second owner purchased with 70k now has 85k for me it was the most reliable german vehicle I`ve Owned.I will miss having to get rid of it..
